Attorney Credits Committed to Quality CLE Courses

For 20 years Attorney Credits has continually evolved our website and courses to make sure that taking your continuing legal education (CLE) is as easy as possible, and that the content of the courses is the best that we can deliver.

Course Excellence

Attorney Credits has refined our courses based on user feedback over the last two decades. We evaluate each course by studying the number of people who take it and their feedback. This allows us to consistently produce CLE courses with topics and speakers that we think you will find interesting.

Course Creation

Creating a course is no easy task, and our Director of Legal Education has been dedicated to providing attorneys with the highest quality courses available. This starts with researching and finding qualified attorneys and experts. Once a speaker has been identified, he works with them to come up with a comprehensive and compelling topic that we think will be beneficial to our customers. As with most providers, our courses start with a video, either filmed on location or remotely through Zoom. Until Covid, we only filmed on location, but since many firms have gone virtual, we have adapted to the new norm.

We Value Your Time

Once the course video has been recorded, we start the editing process. We feel strongly that your time is valuable, and we are unique in making sure that you don’t waste your time while taking CLE. How do we do this? We carefully edit our CLE courses to be as close as possible being on the hour, quarter hour, half hour, or ¾ hour. For example, our 1.0 credit hour courses are as close to 1:00:00 as possible. Imagine you are taking CLE for a state that requires 25 credit hours, and you have 20 total courses to take, and each course is 61 minutes. That is an extra 20 minutes you had to waste, and this is just 1 minute. We just randomly checked 4 courses from a nationwide CLE provider. The first course was 1:13:01 for a 1 credit hour course, the second course was 1:01:30 for a 1 credit hour course, the third course was 1:01:27 for a 1 credit hour course, and the final course was 1:00:36 for a 1 credit hour course.

If you were to have gone with this other CLE provider, there is a good chance you would have wasted a minimum of 30 extra minutes completing your CLE. We understand that time is precious, and your billing is important. Don’t waste your valuable time on extra CLE, Attorney Credits values your time.

Slide Integration

Enhanced learning is important to Attorney Credits and that is why we have incorporated the presentation slides into the course videos. While you can follow along with the handout, we find that having the course presentation slides appear on screen when the actual topic is being discussed allows you to better comprehend the points discussed. We spend a great deal of time creating compelling slides and editing them into the course which allows you easily follow the main subject points that the speaker thinks are important.

Access For All

All our streaming videos have closed captioning which increases the accessibility of our courses. We utilize an AI transcription platform that transcribes the course content as accurately as possible into user adjustable closed captioning. We also provide a full transcript of the course content for all courses. Both closed captioning and course transcripts are easily accessible to our users. These tools used along with the course itself allow attorneys with different learning styles and abilities to enhance their learning experience and topic comprehension.

Substantive Written Materials

All states required that CLE courses come with written materials, or what you might call a handout. Many states require substantive written materials, which are more than just an outline and slides. The handout isn’t the course itself but is supposed to reinforce the key points of the course and provide additional information such as related articles and points of law. Most CLE providers just provide presentation slides, which is specifically against the CLE requirements of many states. We aren’t talking about small local providers! We analyzed the course materials from several nation-wide providers and found that their material didn’t meet the requirements of “substantive written materials”. At Attorney Credits we don’t skimp our duties, and our handouts contain a course description, speaker information, a course outline, any presentation slides, and supplemental articles. We strongly feel that we have the best handouts in the business.
