Attention Kansas attorneys – your upcoming Kansas CLE deadline is June 30. All Kansas attorneys are required to complete a minimum of 12 total CLE credit hours, including a minimum of 2 hours of ethics by June 30th of each year. MCLE has been required in Kansas since 1985. You must also pay your Kansas dues online by June 30.

Kansas attorneys that fail to complete and get their CLE hours reported will be assessed a noncompliance fee. If you don’t comply you will get a notice in early August. Failure to correct the deficiency within 30 days of the notice will result in suspension of your license. Reinstatement requires dealing with the Kansas Supreme Court and waiting for them to handle the paperwork, so please don’t delay, and get your CLE completed on time.
