Arizona lawyers have an annual CLE reporting requirement of 15 credit hours. The MCLE cycle is from July 1 to June 30. Of the 15 required CLE credit hours due in Arizona, a minimum of 3 hours must be in ethics/professional responsibility.
All Arizona lawyers that are required to complete MCLE (there are a few exemptions) must submit proof of meeting the MCLE requirements by filing online, which can be done starting in mid-July.
Failure to complete your CLE on time or file on time will result in late fees (fees increase the longer you wait) and suspension.
Newly admitted Arizona attorneys are required to attend the State Bar’s professionalism course within their first year of admission. This course is available only through the State Bar of Arizona.
